Shipping & Delivery

Orders placed (whose payments have been processed) before 12pm (noon) Centran Standard Time, are generally shipped the same day.  We make every attempt to ship promptly.  If there is any unusual delay, we will make every effort to contact you (by email or phone) to let you know when you can expect your shipment.  99% of all orders ship within 24 hours.

We prefer to ship by UPS.  The cost is competitive, and the service is reliable.  If you would prefer to ship by another method, please contact us after placing your order (or put a note in your order) and we'll be happy to ship according to your preferences.

Privacy & Security

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us!  We'll NEVER give your personal information to anyone.  We won't sell it, either.  Promise.  We may, from time to time, send you a newsletter (if you choose to subscribe to our Newsletter), or an invitation to check out some new products that might be of interest to you.  There are no automatic mailers at HingesnadLatches.com, no weekly/monthly/quarterly email blasts... just a friendly note from the friendly people at H&L.com.  If you prefer not to receive any kind of email from us, please just let us know.

Returns & Replacements

Returns are accepted ONLY with a valid Return Materials Authorization (RMA).  If you ordered the wrong part, or if you find that you can't use the item(s) you ordered, you may return certain items for credit.  The following conditions apply to eligible returns:

  • Restocking charges apply to ALL returns.  The Restocking fee is 20% of the total value of goods returned, including taxes, if applicable.
  • You are responsible for all shipping and customs fees (if you're in the US or another country outside Canada) for the returned product.
  • All boxes must be clearly marked with the RMA number provided by our Customer Service department.  Returned shipments that do not have a valid RMA will be refused by our shipping department, and returned to you at your expense.
  • All returned product must be in "new" condition.  Credit will not be issued if the returned product is not in new condition.

We'll always do our very best to make sure your orders are 100% accurate.  Sometimes we make mistakes, so if that happens, we'll make it right, at no additional cost to you. Call our Customer Service Department for help.

Payment, Pricing & Promotions

We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, or PayPal.  We do NOT accept American Express as a form of payment.

From time to time, items which are designated as "excess inventory" will be put on special!  Check back often to see what's on special!

 

Updating Account Information

Your account information should be accurate and current so that you'll receive your order in a timely manner!  Please verify your account information whenever you place an order so that we don't inadvertently ship to the wrong place!
